Carlos Vickery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 played minutes Rodborough got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Alves. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irwin Notley during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Kangaroos got a freekick which was hit by Irwin Notley. Carlos Vickery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 23rd minute of the match. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Czempa in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kangaroos's Nash Pukallus got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Herbert Czempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Vickery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Vickery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Czempa in the 31st minute of play. After the first half Rodborough were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nash Pukallus to make the kick off. A collision led to Rodborough getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Eddy Odd hit a great ball. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Odd in the 57th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Herbert Czempa put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Vickery. Carlos Vickery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Carlos Vickery was a little too slow when Eddy Odd got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradshaw Kean in the 73rd minute of play forced Rodborough's goalkeeper Jagger Kaine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Vickery made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Herbert Czempa sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Herbert Czempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Vickery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Odd in the 87th minute of play forced Kangaroos's goalkeeper Carlos Vickery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Vickery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Odd in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match Rodborough got a corner. Kangaroos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. László Kulcsár ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that László Kulcsár got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Vickery quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Kangaroos's Nichol Rhoades got a free kick in the 94th minute. László Kulcsár struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Carlos Vickery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodborough.
