In the 5th minute, Porter Oneill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Shadforth's goal looked a bit too open when Boyce Johnson came free, but Reginald Mills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reginald Mills stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Kinnaird's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Nicholas Beale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Joseph Mccormick made a huge save. 11 minutes into the game, Ayreon's Jared Tucknott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginald Mills made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Ayreon booed when Shadforth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ollie Grieve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Mccormick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darell Pincini in the 21st minute of play. Reginald Mills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Kinnaird in the 24th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Ollie Grieve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shadforth and the Ayreon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ollie Grieve kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Arne Kinnaird sped through Shadforth's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reginald Mills. In the 31st minute Arne Kinnaird shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginald Mills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brown Muddle scored 1-5 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reginald Mills, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reginald Mills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Kinnaird, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Reginald Mills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jared Tucknott in the 37th minute of play. Reginald Mills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brown Muddle in the 38th minute of the match. Larry Hanlen lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 42ndth minute of the game Arne Kinnaird who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shadforth's Reginald Mills was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

In the 53rd minute Arne Kinnaird shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginald Mills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Shadforth booed when Ayreon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyce Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Shadforth getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ollie Grieve hit a great ball. Reginald Mills made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Arne Kinnaird sent off a good shot on target. Reginald Mills came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ayreon's Brown Muddle. But to his dismay, Brown Muddle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. 71 minutes into the game, Ayreon's Brown Muddle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginald Mills made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. 77 minutes into the game, Jared Tucknott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-10. Reginald Mills was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Boyce Johnson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shadforth's Reginald Mills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Shadforth from getting a goal against them. After 84 played minutes Shadforth got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Maunsell. Brown Muddle took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reginald Mills. Reginald Mills dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-11. Reginald Mills was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arne Kinnaird showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-12 in the 92 minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match, Arne Kinnaird tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reginald Mills saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Reginald Mills was a little too slow when Brown Muddle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 98th minute. The score was now 1-13. When the final whistle sounded Ayreon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Shadforth.
