Bradshaw Kean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nash Pukallus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nikitas Karelas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rodd Tucknott hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Blaxland FC's Nikitas Karelas got control of the ball when Nash Pukallus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nash Pukallus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Bart Toth made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodd Tucknott hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match Nichol Rhoades sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikitas Karelas skillfully saved the ball. If Bart Toth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikitas Karelas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caine Pearson's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Artie Pack's late challenge caught a Kangaroos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artie Pack helped the player get up and apologised. Nichol Rhoades recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes, Bradshaw Kean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kangaroos and the Blaxland FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kangaroos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kangaroos.
