Spectators: 9268 (Terracing: 6953, Seating: 2131, VIP seats: 184) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nash Pukallus took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Ayreon booed when Kangaroos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradshaw Kean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes, Ayreon's Casper Kenack shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Vickery came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ayreon reached it. The Ayreon fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Ayreon's Arne Kinnaird looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Kinnaird in the 13th minute of play. Carlos Vickery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyce Johnson in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Boyce Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Vickery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Vickery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Kinnaird in the 23rd minute of play. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Kinnaird in the 24th minute of play. Boyce Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joseph Mccormick made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Nash Pukallus sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the game, Arne Kinnaird cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carlos Vickery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Caine Pearson fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kangaroos's protests and gave Caine Pearson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kangaroos getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Caine Pearson hit a great ball. The Ayreon fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Ayreon's Arne Kinnaird looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Brown Muddle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Vickery having to interfere. Arne Kinnaird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Mccormick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caine Pearson's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 55 minutes, Caine Pearson made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ayreon's Joseph Mccormick tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joseph Mccormick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nash Pukallus in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Nash Pukallus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Mccormick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Kinnaird in the 63rd minute of play forced Kangaroos's goalkeeper Carlos Vickery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Nash Pukallus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Mccormick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Vickery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Kinnaird, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Brown Muddle could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Carlos Vickery however easily saved by the left post. Bradshaw Kean might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joseph Mccormick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradshaw Kean ran back to his position shaking his head. Joseph Mccormick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caine Pearson in the 82nd minute of the match. Bradshaw Kean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kangaroos's Ike Obree was substituted for Andres Minne. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Arne Kinnaird managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayreon's supporters rose to their feet, but Arne Kinnaird was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Vickery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Kangaroos from getting a goal against them. Ayreon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
