Spectators: 8050 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Darell Pincini took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jagger Kaine was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Darell Pincini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Darell Pincini really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Reginald Mills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Odd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Shadforth got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Beale. Eddy Odd scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reginald Mills, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reginald Mills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Czempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Rodborough's Eriz Gomara got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 36th match minute, Shadforth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ollie Grieve to maneuver through the defense. With 40 minutes on the clock, Larry Hanlen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shadforth fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! After having played for 47 minutes, Jared Giddey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shadforth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jared Giddey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herbert Czempa to strike the kick off in the second half. Reginald Mills made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Herbert Czempa sent off a good shot on target. When Shadforth's Darell Pincini in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rodborough's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute, Rodborough's Herbert Czempa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Reginald Mills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Odd in the 58th minute of play. Reginald Mills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Odd in the 58th minute of the match. Shadforth's Reginald Mills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Shadforth from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Herbert Czempa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodborough fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 67 minutes into the match, Shadforth's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Odd came free, but Reginald Mills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Herbert Czempa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Reginald Mills was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boguslaw Golaszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Reginald Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Shadforth got a freekick which was hit by Arty Pustak. Shadforth's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Boguslaw Golaszewski scored to the left of an out of position Reginald Mills, making the score, 1-7. Reginald Mills was a little too slow when Boguslaw Golaszewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-8. The supporters of Rodborough booed when Shadforth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darell Pincini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Czempa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Reginald Mills made a huge save. László Kulcsár hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Arty Pustak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jagger Kaine. Rodborough's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th minute, Lewis Maunsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reginald Mills made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Herbert Czempa sent off a good shot on target. The Shadforth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rodborough were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
