Spectators: 9216 (Terracing: 6914, Seating: 2119, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jajat Handoyo kicked off to start the match. Alan Freeman's late challenge caught a Blaxland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jajat Handoyo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. Gradger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Davey Isaac was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Blaxland FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Blaxland FC's Jajat Handoyo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 18 minutes, Jajat Handoyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blaxland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jajat Handoyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that 陶潮枫's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikitas Karelas was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 21st match minute, Gradger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Rutledge to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Jajat Handoyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Crane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as 陶潮枫 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikitas Karelas. That made the score 2-4 in the 41 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jajat Handoyo in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Crane saved Gradger from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 陶潮枫 to make the kick off. If Bart Toth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute of the match Blaxland FC got a corner. Gradger's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fred Nyhuus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Blaxland FC's Fred Nyhuus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nelson Crane in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leon Palzewicz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Blaxland FC's Nikitas Karelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Freeman in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jajat Handoyo got free with Nelson Crane in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelson Crane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Toth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Jajat Handoyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blaxland FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. In the 81st minute, Alan Freeman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikitas Karelas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. 89 minutes into the match, Gradger's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Toth came free, but Nelson Crane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blaxland FC's Barney Ross was substituted for Bernard Miels. Blaxland FC's Quincy Howard was substituted for Cassidy Hollingworth. The Blaxland FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blaxland FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
