The supporters of Germany booed when İZMİR&GS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tekin Kutlar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Anelka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 21st minute of the match İZMİR&GS got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antônio Furtado ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on İZMİR&GS's corner Antônio Furtado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Gökçen Safa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 23rd minute of the match. Willy Stieler charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willy Stieler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 罗响铮 in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. İZMİR&GS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antônio Furtado in the 46th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Mehmet Bedri Ağaverdi got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 罗响铮 made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 54th minute. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Anelka in the 70th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 罗响铮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes, İZMİR&GS's Antônio Furtado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in İZMİR&GS reached it. Nicolas Anelka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes, İZMİR&GS's Antônio Furtado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in İZMİR&GS reached it. In the 96thth minute of the game 罗响铮 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the İZMİR&GS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
