Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Renato Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Cacciola were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dario Marziali took the corner. Cacciola's Dario Marziali was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ivan Vlaykovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Nunez Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ivan Vlaykovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 21st match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Vlaykovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Vlaykovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 26th minute of play. Ivan Vlaykovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of the match. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Renato Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Paulo Renato Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Ivan Vlaykovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes Cacciola's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
