An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 9th minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Fabiano Violento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Violento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Fabiano Violento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Emiliano Giusto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old BaoBaB Accademy's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Giusto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Emiliano Giusto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Fabiano Violento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 25th minute, Emiliano Giusto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Emiliano Giusto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Emiliano Giusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Ursino during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 48 minutes, Cristoforo Lepori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Old BaoBaB Accademy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristoforo Lepori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Giusto made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Furia in the 53rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabiano Violento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 61st minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Old BaoBaB Accademy's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Fabiano Violento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Prince Queen was substituted for Robert Pirès. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emilio Buffone was substituted for Emiliano Giusto. In the 81st minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabiano Violento, passed just outside the right post. In the 85th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, 陆政俊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Panino to maneuver through the defense. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but Old BaoBaB Accademy were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
