Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 13th minute of the match. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Peter Bautmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Fenomeno in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Bredene's Karl Slegers got a free kick in the 28th minute. Otto Fenomeno took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wellington do Valle hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Frank Sachs sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Bredene's Peter Bautmans didn't even have to move. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Fenomeno in the 43rd minute. Otto Fenomeno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's Otto Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, FC Bredene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teun Leemans to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Otto Fenomeno came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Bredene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Fenomeno couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Bautmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bredene's goalkeeper Peter Bautmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Bredene were victorious despite being under pressure from Germany for much of the match.
