Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Flanagan in the 3rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vern Wright went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Boyd Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 8th minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Winkler having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyd Winkler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Pueblo FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Aldo Singleton hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Pueblo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Boyd Winkler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pueblo FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerry Franco took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammed Flanagan in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 29th minute of play forced Pueblo FC's goalkeeper Boyd Winkler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Pueblo FC's Vern Wright fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boyd Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vern Wright in the 45th minute. A collision led to Pueblo FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jackson Valle hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vern Wright to make the kick off. Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Pueblo FC from getting a goal against them. Tyrell Houser kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 63rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boyd Winkler. That made the score 2-2 in the 66 minute of play. Boyd Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boyd Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyd Winkler was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyd Winkler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boyd Winkler made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. After 93 minutes, Egbert Nijveldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Netherlands and the Pueblo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pueblo FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gerry Franco hit a great ball. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
