Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nikos Valassiou kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Monge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Lobo in the 12th minute of play. Gerardo Millot hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Valassiou came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Volio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when CS La Libertad's Nikos Valassiou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nikos Valassious short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Lobo was slow to take the kick. During this time CS La Libertad's players had a chance to rest. The corner led CS La Libertad's Rodrigo Lobo to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after CS La Libertad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Major Barna from a close distance when the talented Ernesto Monge managed to make a qualified save. CS La Libertad's players were relieved. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by CS La Libertad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Major Barna at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of CS La Libertad. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Ernesto Monge in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikos Valassiou hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ernesto Monge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Valassiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Valassiou in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Nikos Valassiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS La Libertad's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Valassiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes was substituted for Nikos Valassiou. Ernesto Monge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 73rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Millot during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerardo Millot hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Ernesto Monge in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Monge having to interfere. After 79 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Marco Ureña. After 84 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Katona Janos. Vörös Henrik's late challenge caught a CS La Libertad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vörös Henrik helped the player get up and apologised. Marco Ureña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CS La Libertad's Luis Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Marco Ureña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
