Ricardo Kaká could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 14th minute Elpidio Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Volta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Bulla took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Bulla, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alessio Volta got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 7-0 in the right cross in the 46th match minute before Tommy Kahn had time to react. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Florian Bulla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Volta, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Volta in the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alessio Volta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Gavellese fully deserved thier win.
