Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Berggren got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ulrich Stein hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Småland Utd:s goal. Småland Utd's Frank Berggren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommy Kahn but with some difficulty. Sven Wennersten kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 18th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Småland Utd's Gösta Gustafsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Lövgren in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Småland Utd's Sven Wennersten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 27th minute Sven-Ove Lövgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Gösta Gustafsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Frank Berggrens short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 34 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. 45 minutes into the match, Småland Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Joacim Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Göran Ahlén made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Frank Berggren immediately put the ball in play. Joacim Hultman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Arman Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Småland Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arman Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joacim Hultman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sven Wennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joacim Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Ove Lövgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Ove Lövgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Arman Hansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Sven-Ove Lövgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Sven-Ove Lövgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Sven-Ove Lövgren put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Berggren in the 86th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Lövgren in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Småland Utd fully deserved thier win.
