Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Chris Nygaard made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 6th minute of play forced Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Sammy Godts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikkel Wulff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sammy Godts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Bryan Van Deuren kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sammy Godts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Denmark reached it. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Chris Nygaard. 26 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Weijnandts. When Ryan Kempenaerts fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suikerklontjes's protests and gave Ryan Kempenaerts a yellow card for diving instead. Ryan Kempenaerts hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sammy Godts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Sammy Godts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Matias Gilis. Johannes Weijnandts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Keld Paulsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Johannes Weijnandts slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Weijnandts made a kick off. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Sammy Godts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Weijnandts came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Svenningsen. In the 66th minute, Mathias Ludvigsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ryan Kempenaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Suikerklontjes booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mike Armentier, made in the 74th minute of the game. Sammy Godts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Rits came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Mikkel Wulff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olav Graversen in the 87th minute of play. Denmark's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Suikerklontjes had won, even though Denmark had held more of the ball.
