After a defensive mix-up in Kuva-yi Milliye's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 许昆昂 came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Arif Oğuz İmren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 17 in the game by Batıhan Alatay from a close distance when the talented Keld Paulsen managed to make a qualified save. Denmark's players were relieved. Akil Yıldız's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akil Yıldız helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kuva-yi Milliye's Aybar Cebir got a free kick in the 19th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Kuva-yi Milliye's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Steen came free, but 许昆昂 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuva-yi Milliye's 许昆昂 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kenn Skou hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Batıhan Alatay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 许昆昂 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the game Arif Oğuz İmren made a throw-in which Batıhan Alatay played forward. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batıhan Alatay to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes in the game Arif Oğuz İmren did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Batıhan Alatay. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batıhan Alatay in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Nuri Unat came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kuva-yi Milliye's 许昆昂 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Denmark's Lars Steen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 许昆昂 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it. Arif Oğuz İmren made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aybar Cebir. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. 许昆昂 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bertram Svenningsen shot a long shot in the 82nd minute and a light blocked 许昆昂 hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. In the 85th minute Batıhan Alatay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Arif Oğuz İmren in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. 许昆昂 was a little too slow when Mikkel Wulff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-2. Denmark played a much better game than Kuva-yi Milliye and deserved their victory. The Kuva-yi Milliye players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
