Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gerry Bibby kicked off to start the match. Dom Kyle's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dom Kyle helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Dom Kyle. In the 5th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jason Lobb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Gerry Bibby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Owen Bishop, made in the 11th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Chris Nygaard sped through ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jason Lobb. Jason Lobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerry Bibby. After 21 played minutes ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Owen Bishop. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 22nd minute of play forced ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's goalkeeper Jason Lobb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerry Bibby struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ. 30 minutes into the game, Bjarne Kirkegaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ the free kick. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Vincent Dry came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Dry couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute of the game Len Ainsworth made a throw-in which Gerry Bibby played forward. Dom Kyle kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Jason Lobb. Jason Lobb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vincent Dry struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Lobb was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brandon Parrott during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Parrott. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Jason Lobb made a huge save. After 58 minutes, Vincent Dry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Dry to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the game, Chris Nygaard landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damion Stride during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Damion Stride kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flemming Bendixen got free with Jason Lobb in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Bibby in the 68th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Gerry Bibby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerry Bibby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Gerry Bibby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Lobb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flemming Bendixen in the 74th minute. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dom Kyle kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Metcalf in the 82nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Owen Bishop in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. In the 88th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Lobb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ throughout the match.
