Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albin Karlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. But to his dismay, Sigfrido Auletta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco van Basten to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the game Rune Hedberg made a throw-in which Binali Aytolun played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Sigfrido Auletta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albin Karlsson. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. 56 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albin Karlsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 麦南磊 in the 68th minute of play. Porziano Marchitelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Albin Karlsson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 72nd minute of play forced Bunkeflo FF's goalkeeper Albin Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Karlsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 75th minute. If Marco van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albin Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. After a rather tough play, Bunkeflo FF's Rune Hedberg got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Italy's Adriano Curto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albin Karlsson. Albin Karlsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bunkeflo FF.
