The supporters of Lazio S.S. booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lucjan Mostowiak took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 57th minute, Lucjan Mostowiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Wos in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Mostowiak in the 65th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Terzic hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Teo Gudelj hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Marek Dejo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilija Skugor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Lazio S.S.'s Lucjan Mostowiak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Tomasz Fikus struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ilija Skugor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazio S.S.. 79 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Wos came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Croatia's Damir Pongrac sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Wolczewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucjan Mostowiak in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilija Skugor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kazimierz Bejrut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Lazio S.S. got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Mostowiak. Emil Wolczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Mauzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Lazio S.S.'s Tomasz Fikus got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Mostowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Lazio S.S. were the better team. Lazio S.S.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
