Ivan Käcker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Szekeres Tamas made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Antal Valentin however managed to control. In the 20th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. The Versannat players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Versannat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Karlberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyril Michiels during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hungary booed when Versannat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyril Michiels didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Versannat's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Major Barna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Versannat's Bruno Nunes got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Versannat's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Käcker in the 78th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Käcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Ivan Käcker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Käcker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 85 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Nunes made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Ivan Käcker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Versannat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Karlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bruno Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Versannat's Ruben Latreille got a free kick in the 94th minute. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
