Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miromir Pazura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milosz Sowa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milosz Sowa made a kick off. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Banach in the 52nd minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Sowa in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Sowa in the 62nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikolaj Biegun charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
