Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Invictus FC were awarded a corner. Ron Aelgoet went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Emmanuel Hylen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Mallecots in the 6th minute of play. With his leg Flavio Vittori managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexander Hendrickx kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Sean Mallecotss short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Flavio Vittori to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sean Mallecots in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Vittori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddy Stoorms read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Eddy Stoorms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Sigfrido Auletta made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Mallecots in the 29th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Maxwell van Beek. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 42nd minute of play. Eddy Stoorms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sean Mallecots was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Siricio Liotta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddy Stoorms. Invictus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siricio Liotta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Eddy Stoorms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 61st minute of the match. Sean Mallecots's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Invictus FC got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ron Aelgoet ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 65th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Eddy Stoorms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Cutri made in the 71st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zaccheo Andolina however managed to control. In the 72nd minute, Zaccheo Andolina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sean Mallecots scored 1-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Octave Hendrickx got a free kick in the 76th minute. Octave Hendrickx hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eddy Stoorms made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. In the 86th minute, Italy's Adriano Curto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eddy Stoorms. Eddy Stoorms yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eddy Stoorms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Hylen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy played a much better game than Invictus FC and deserved their victory. The Invictus FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
