Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis Albuquerque hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Morungaba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Nestor Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Kenn Skou. The Morungaba SC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Morungaba SC's Jarbas Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amadeu Cardozo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Odman in the 17th minute of play. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Amadeu Cardozo with Gilbert Czerniak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alf Odman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Keld Paulsen 20 minutes into the match. Denmark's Olav Graversen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amadeu Cardozo in the 33 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Olav Graversen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Olav Graversen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Clóvis Albuquerque hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nestor Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Morungaba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Nestor Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

A sloppy throw-in by Amadeu Cardozo in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Lars Steen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Steen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikkel Wulff to maneuver through the defense. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Cardozo made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gilbert Czerniak. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Odman in the 70th minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Odman in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Jarbas Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Jarbas Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Nygaard to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Amadeu Cardozo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Morungaba SC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
