Erik Benke hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Alan Rezek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Gáspár having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Alan Rezek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of János Gáspár. Sporting Savaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Rezek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. János Gáspár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Rezek in the 17th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kálmán Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Heiki Uustal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Eutropio Vera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Eutropio Vera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kálmán Mbappè had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Eutropio Vera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Eutropio Vera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Czech Republic's Erik Jilek in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Savaria's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Lajos Laczkó ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kálmán Mbappè struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Savaria. After 46 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Dalimil Charvat. The audience was convinced that Kálmán Mbappè's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Jilek to strike the kick off in the second half. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kálmán Mbappè in the 61st minute of play. Eutropio Vera struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Savaria. Lajos Laczkó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Dostal during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lajos Laczkó went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutropio Vera in the 84th minute of play. 4-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Lajos Laczkó elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Eutropio Vera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kálmán Mbappè fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Sporting Savaria players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
