Sporting Savaria's János Gáspár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 20th minute of play. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Olav Graversen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. János Gáspár was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 25 played minutes Sporting Savaria got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Orhan Gezer. In the 27th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Gáspár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the game, Mózes Medve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Savaria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. If Lars Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kálmán Mbappè recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Ludvigsen during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sporting Savaria's János Gáspár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 47th minute of play.

The supporters of Denmark booed when Sporting Savaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adorján Mónos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kálmán Mbappè had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute Kálmán Mbappè shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Savaria's players were relieved. In the 64thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Savaria's János Gáspár was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lajos Laczkó in the 67th minute of play. If Lajos Laczkó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. János Gáspár made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Sporting Savaria's Heiki Uustal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Adorján Mónos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Savaria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sporting Savaria's Adorján Mónos got a free kick in the 74th minute. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theis Winther to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Savaria's Lajos Laczkó got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lajos Laczkó in the 83rd minute of the match. Kálmán Mbappè's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kálmán Mbappè helped the player get up and apologised. Kálmán Mbappè kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. János Gáspár was a little too slow when Chris Nygaard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-5. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Mbappè in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Denmark had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
