Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvo Joa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Porvenir's Hector Santiago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Porvenir's Gomez Urrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 21st minute of play. When Alfredo Karmel fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvenir's protests and gave Alfredo Karmel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Alfredo Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gomez Urrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Gomez Urrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gomez Urrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Arvo Joa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gomez Urrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guerrero Onterino in the 34th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomez Urrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gomez Urrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 45 minutes into the game, Camacho Molledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porvenir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The supporters of Porvenir booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaaf Groeneveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Porvenir got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Urko Villaluenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 61st minute Arvo Joa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Porvenir's Guerrero Onterino made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Porvenir's Garrido Bolide was substituted for Camacho Molledo. After 68 played minutes Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Ovando Felix. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Santiago in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Urko Villaluenga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goalkeeper Gomez Urrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. 83 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Arvo Joa came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Santiago came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Ricci to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Gomez Urrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Porvenir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. In the 94th minute, Urko Villaluenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gomez Urrea. Porvenir's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Porvenir had won after a very even match.
