Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fanis Salepis hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 10th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes in the game Szekeres Tamas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Takacs Tibor. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 16th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allan Corrigan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 28 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Alketas Bourouselos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alketas Bourouselos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of the match. Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 33rd minute of play. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alketas Bourouselos. Alketas Bourouselos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Corrigan made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos. Alketas Bourouselos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 54 minutes into the match, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alketas Bourouselos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Szekeres Tamas with Antal Valentin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 60th minute of play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Bourouselos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alketas Bourouselos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Panionios MK's Themos Leontiadis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themos Leontiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Panionios MK's Allan Corrigan. But to his dismay, Allan Corrigan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themos Leontiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Valentin's late challenge caught a Panionios MK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antal Valentin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 96th minute.
