Marcu Cruceru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. 11 minutes into the game, Marcu Cruceru lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Maxime Durand. A hard shot 13 in the game by Bogdan Sârban from a close distance when the talented Maxime Durand managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. With his leg Maxime Durand managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when AC Milan Tigers's Marcu Cruceru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Baume to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcu Cruceru in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Marcu Cruceru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 27 minutes, Marcu Cruceru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcu Cruceru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of AC Milan Tigers booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxence Durand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toader Jumancă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Sârban. After 38 minutes, Marcu Cruceru made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. France's Maxime Durand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcu Crucerus short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Maxime Durand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 41 minutes into the game, Toader Jumancă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ion Văcărescu, made in the 45th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Bogdan Sârban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Toader Jumancă hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ion Văcărescu made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. After a rather tough play, France's Frank Peletier got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Sârban in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Cruceru in the 70th minute of the match. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Cruceru's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Martin Răuţă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. After 73 played minutes AC Milan Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Martin Răuţă. After a rather tough play, France's Quentin Beaux got a free kick in the 77th minute. David Barbier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Barbăneagră having to interfere. If Marcu Cruceru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Camille Baume hit a great ball. Codrin Barbăneagră made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. Luca Pomuț kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Pomuț went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the France players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Milan Tigers.
