Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Costin Giugiuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Albin Holweck made a precise shot to the right of Costin Giugiuc. A.C. Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11th minute A.C. Costin Giugiuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 27th minute of play. From close distance Aurelio Mederi pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 29 minutes into the game. Aurelio Mederi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 37 minutes, Aurelio Mederi made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Mederi in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 46th minute, Aurelio Mederi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Mederi in the 58th minute of the match. Costin Giugiuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Mederi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Zdrăilă in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Milan's Dumitru Zdrăilă. But to his dismay, Dumitru Zdrăilă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When Aurelio Mederi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the A.C. Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Mederi couldn't finish the play. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Costin Giugiuc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costică Chiriloaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A.C. Milan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
