Aurelio Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Costin Giugiuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 minutes A.C. Milan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Barbier who took care of the corner kick. 12 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Mederi. Aurelio Mederi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Aurelio Mederi sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute of the match A.C. Milan got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remus Pinatel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Remus Pinatel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but France's Maxime Durand did a great save. A hard shot 34 in the game by Aurelio Mederi from a close distance when the talented Maxime Durand managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. In the 35th minute, Aurelio Mederi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Mederi in the 37th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costin Giugiuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Zdrăilă came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Mederis short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Maxime Durand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Aurelio Mederi put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute Dumitru Zdrăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led A.C. Milan's Remus Pinatel to fire away a dangerous shot which Maxime Durand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Zdrăilă in the 54th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When A.C. Milan's Aurelio Mederi in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Mederi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Bruneau to maneuver through the defense. Flavius Dragotescu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 minutes, Aurelio Mederi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C. Milan and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, A.C.
