Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 9th minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lorenzo Vannier quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Turban in the 11th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Vannier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A hard shot 20 in the game by Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. 23 minutes into the match, Aulnay's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Lorenzo Vannier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Vannier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes Aulnay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Lorenzo Vannier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Hungary's Vörös Henrik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lorenzo Vannier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute Vörös Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Vannier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Aulnay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Charles Moutarde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Hungary booed when Aulnay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Lorenzo Vannier in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lorenzo Vannier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Marc-Olivier Battini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Arthur Turban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aulnay's Lorenzo Vannier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 93rd minute of play. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
