In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson-Arantes Maradona in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 16th minute of play forced TheLastDance's goalkeeper Zachariasz Kociniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by TheLastDance's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Jaroslaw Gongolewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaroslaw Gongolewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaroslaw Gongolewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Edson-Arantes Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Kociniewski having to interfere. TheLastDance's Edson-Arantes Maradona got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson-Arantes Maradona in the 39th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vörös Henrik hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the TheLastDance defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Kociniewski. The TheLastDance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Kociniewski should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Zachariasz Kociniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to TheLastDance getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ludomir Niemoj hit a great ball. With his leg Zachariasz Kociniewski managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Hungary's Major Barna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edson-Arantes Maradona charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edson-Arantes Maradona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes TheLastDance got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Niemoj. 63 minutes into the match, TheLastDance's goalkeeper Zachariasz Kociniewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. 65 minutes into the match, TheLastDance's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Zachariasz Kociniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TheLastDance's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Major Barna 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 68th match minute, TheLastDance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Ochabski to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Takacs Tibor made a precise shot to the right of Zachariasz Kociniewski. TheLastDance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, TheLastDance's Raymond Dupuis got a free kick in the 74th minute. Zachariasz Kociniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bakos Endre in the 75th minute of play. Zachariasz Kociniewski was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Major Barna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Major Barna really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. TheLastDance made a substitution. Miroslaw Brodzki replaced Roberto-Carlos Junior. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edson-Arantes Maradona managed to get in a good position for a shot. TheLastDance's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson-Arantes Maradona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TheLastDance's Zachariasz Kociniewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save TheLastDance from getting a goal against them. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Zachariasz Kociniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hegedus Henrik scored 0-6 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zachariasz Kociniewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Edson-Arantes Maradona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
