With his leg Alfred Rojewski managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szczepan Ankiewicz went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Frank Sachs's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfred Rojewski firmly grabbed it by the left post.
