Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Maksim Lobanovskiy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mikhail Bezyazykov charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikhail Bezyazykov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC GAZprom! 6 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC GAZprom's Adélio Camargo. Adélio Camargo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th match minute, FC GAZprom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Tyulenin to maneuver through the defense. FC GAZprom's Adélio Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adélio Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Salvagnin in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miron Kalashnikov was slow to take the kick. During this time FC GAZprom's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC GAZprom's Miron Kalashnikov to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC GAZprom's Adélio Camargo. Adélio Camargo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, David Eikelkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to FC GAZprom getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vyacheslav Rozhkov hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksim Lobanovskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Adélio Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Adélio Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Salvagnin in the 56th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Salvagnin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Adélio Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noah Gessen in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Adélio Camargo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adélio Camargo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Gessen in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Ilya Derevschikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Meesters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adélio Camargo having to make a save. FC GAZprom's Adélio Camargo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FC GAZprom from getting a goal against them. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adélio Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Netherlands played a much better game than FC GAZprom and deserved their victory. The FC GAZprom players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
