Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filippo Gigli started the match with the kick off. Squadra de Pippe's attentive Valérien Derm managed to snatch the ball when Gianpaolo Mascari made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Gigli in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 11th minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Bruno Mazzone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Squadra de Pippe's Bruno Mazzone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra de Pippe's Bruno Mazzone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Zaccheo Andolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 20th minute, Javier Villarreal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Squadra de Pippe got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Andreoli. Bruno Mazzone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of the match. The throw-in from Gianpaolo Mascari in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Squadra de Pippe's Bruno Mazzone. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Mazzone. Squadra de Pippe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bruno Mazzone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Mazzone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaccheo Andolina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Mazzone. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Bruno Mazzone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Cabrini, made in the 60th minute of the game. Bruno Mazzone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislovas Skripkauskas in the 67th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Squadra de Pippe's Enzo Di Domenico was substituted for Victor Abaurre. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Squadra de Pippe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Deodato Magliozzi advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-5 in the 72nd minute. Filippo Gigli kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Mazzone. Squadra de Pippe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 86 minutes Squadra de Pippe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siricio Liotta who took care of the corner kick. After 88 minutes of play, Squadra de Pippe's Enzo Di Domenico made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Italy's Siricio Liotta got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Di Carlo in the 94th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
