Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Beninda in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of JK Kurevere booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute of the match. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after JK Kurevere's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Virgilio Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgilio Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dawid Beninda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Beninda came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Virgilio Mateus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Virgilio Mateus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Virgilio Mateus made a huge save. Virgilio Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute of play. JK Kurevere's Mairo Koppelmann was substituted for Robert Müürsepp. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after JK Kurevere's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. In the 71st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, JK Kurevere's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 78th minute Dawid Beninda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Haarald Peelmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in JK Kurevere's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Mateus came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Virgilio Mateus. That made the score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. Virgilio Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Beninda in the 91st minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mairo Koppelmann in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Dawid Beninda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
