Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viriato Moura kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. If Javier Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Filippo Gigli sent off a good shot on target. After 11 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Abaurre who took care of the corner kick. In the 13th minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Victor Abaurre sent off a good shot on target. When Caetano Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Caetano Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra de Pippe's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Mazzone came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Barreto. Felipe Barreto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Filippo Gigli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filippo Gigli really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Javier Villarreal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Portugal's Fabricio Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Mazzone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mazzone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Mazzone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Barreto's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Squadra de Pippe's Victor Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bruno Mazzone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Mazzone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
After 58 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Mazzone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Squadra de Pippe's Stanislovas Skripkauskas was substituted for Filippo Gigli. Squadra de Pippe's Stanislovas Skripkauskas got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Mazzone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Stanislovas Skripkauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Squadra de Pippe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 94th minute, Stanislovas Skripkauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. There was no doubt that Squadra de Pippe were the better team. Squadra de Pippe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
