Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 7th minute of play. When Sverker Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC Wrocanka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sverker Danielsson couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sverker Danielsson. In the 20th minute, Sverker Danielsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Vittori. The goal made the score 1-1. Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Wrocanka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kenneth Åkerman in the 32 minute of the game. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dawiec having to interfere. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Sverker Danielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute FC Wrocanka were awarded a corner. After 42 played minutes FC Wrocanka got a freekick which was hit by 严风坤. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sverker Danielsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Kajetan Dawiec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 51st minute. Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. With an all-out effort, Italy's Kajetan Dawiec threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 76th minute, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kajetan Dawiec. Kajetan Dawiec yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The supporters of Italy booed when FC Wrocanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Åkerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Åkerman hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kajetan Dawiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Siricio Liotta went to the cornerflag to take it. Siricio Liotta made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that FC Wrocanka's Kajetan Dawiec managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Wrocanka throughout the match.
