Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. Adnan Yenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. SHADOW's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Egbert Nijveldt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adnan Yenal quite easily take care of the ball. SHADOW's Adnan Yenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 14th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Yenal having to interfere. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Adnan Yenal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. After a defensive mix-up in SHADOW's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adnan Yenal came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute. Adnan Yenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 35th minute of the match. Dobromir Pierz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adnan Yenal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Hatman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by SHADOW's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 57 minutes, Tobiasz Zbytniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHADOW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasz Zbytniewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldts short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Adnan Yenal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Pierz in the 71st minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Hatman in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when SHADOW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Waselewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. SHADOW's Adnan Yenal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SHADOW from getting a goal against them. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Netherlands players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
