International Thunders's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Nichifor Borăscu scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rouven Nussli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Fabricio Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rouven Nussli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, 冯亦思 made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Rouven Nussli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 24th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Percival Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. Rouven Nussli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 28th minute of play. Faustino Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Costa in the 32nd minute of play. Rouven Nussli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 33rd minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Bäuschlein came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, 冯亦思 notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rouven Nussli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

International Thunders's Loukianos Staikos was substituted for Percival Costa. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. Felipe Barreto in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rouven Nussli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Bäuschlein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Rouven Nussli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. In the 64th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundas Baleika to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Rouven Nussli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute 冯亦思 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Caetano Moreira scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rouven Nussli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. International Thunders's Julien-Nils Freeh was substituted for Oskar Vahlberg. International Thunders made a substitution. Gernot Kellner replaced Arthur Damm. Nichifor Borăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Javier Sanguinetti got a free kick in the 91st minute. Rouven Nussli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Lionel 柯景亦 kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The International Thunders fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
