FC Wrocanka's Tomasz Jarosz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faustino Almeida, made in the 7th minute of the game. Kajetan Dawiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 8th minute of the match. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when FC Wrocanka's Sverker Danielsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Rodolfo Miranda made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Wrocanka's Wieslaw Cichowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Cichowski in the 17th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Dawiec came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sverker Danielsson struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wrocanka. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Sverker Danielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Danielsson got free with Wilson Amorim in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dawiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sverker Danielsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Sverker Danielsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kenneth Åkerman, made in the 39th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Wieslaw Cichowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wrocanka's supporters rose to their feet, but Wieslaw Cichowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sverker Danielsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kajetan Dawiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sverker Danielsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 63rd minute of play. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. In the 70th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Wieslaw Cichowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the FC Wrocanka defense, Graciano Coutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kajetan Dawiec. The FC Wrocanka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kajetan Dawiec should have stopped the shot. Lu Bin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Wrocanka booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graciano Coutinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Kajetan Dawiec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Portugal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
