In the 43rdth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breguete FC's Artur Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artur Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Albin Holweck was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goalkeeper Artur Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. 83 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Pernambucano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdir Loureiro who took care of the corner kick. Breguete FC's Roman Sarricolea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Paulista in the 94th minute of play.
