In the 3rd minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Damian Tipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Tipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Alacuart's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Alacuart helped the player get up and apologised. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damian Tipinski quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Antal Valentin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Damian Tipinski. Damian Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Tipinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 37th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Tipinski having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After 43 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vergaray Casero who took care of the corner kick. Vergaray Casero made a great header on Gitarriu's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Damian Tipinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 51st minute of play forced Gitarriu's goalkeeper Damian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damian Tipinski quite easily take care of the ball. Gitarriu's Vergaray Casero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's Joel Lundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The nice shot from Antal Valentin in the 68thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Damian Tipinski had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Antal Valentin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Damian Tipinski 68 minutes into the match. Damian Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Damian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 86th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Balazs Lajos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Tipinski. That made the score 0-7 after 87 minutes of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damian Tipinski could save by the left post.
