Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reggie Clement's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Mark Modig hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adilson do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Deckbergh came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 22nd minute of play forced Al-Slottshöjden's goalkeeper Adilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Söderkvist. Reggie Clement charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Hellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Adilson do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Adilson do Vale however easily saved by the left post. In the 59thth minute of the game Reggie Clement who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Reggie Clement shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goalkeeper Adilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siebe Michiels. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Hugo Söderkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Hugo Söderkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Påk made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Josef Hellbom immediately put the ball in play. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Clement, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the game, Al-Slottshöjden's Reggie Clement nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Belgium walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
