Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, S.C. Potentia's Codrin Matei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 5thth minute of the game Codrin Matei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 played minutes S.C. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rein Roetering. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Pitin got free with Maxime Durand in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Pitin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathijs Tevreden saved S.C. Potentia from getting behind. The supporters of S.C. Potentia booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remy Dupuy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Durand was a little too slow when Codrin Matei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codrin Matei in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Codrin Matei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The throw-in from Roger Ijspol in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Henry Robiquet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 36th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Mathijs Tevreden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codrin Matei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathijs Tevreden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Pitin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Mathijs Tevreden made a huge save. In the 63rd minute Codrin Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathijs Tevreden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Erik Rensenbrink fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Potentia's protests and gave Erik Rensenbrink a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Rensenbrink kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. S.C. Potentia's Mathijs Tevreden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Potentia from getting a goal against them. Mathijs Tevreden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 82nd minute of the match. The throw-in from Roger Ijspol in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Henry Robiquet. In the 91st minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathijs Tevreden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Camille Baume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Matei in the 95th minute of play.
