Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kenneth Majman struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benknotorna. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Bure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Chris Nygaard put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Peter Lundgren. In the 20th minute Kurt Bure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Denmark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Geraldo Trullols scored to the left of an out of position Keld Paulsen, making the score, 1-1. Gustav Siöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Denmark booed when Benknotorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Siöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 30th minute of play forced Benknotorna's goalkeeper Peter Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Benknotorna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Benknotorna booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ludvigsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geraldo Trullols kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Geraldo Trullols took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Peter Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Benknotorna's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Lundgren came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sven-Oskar Pihlwall kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Majman came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Benknotorna getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ted Apelqvist hit a great ball. Peter Lundgren made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Peter Lundgren made a huge save. After 83 played minutes Benknotorna got a freekick which was hit by Aris Dermitzakis. Peter Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff in the 85th minute of play. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Bure in the 89th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Denmark walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
