Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Antal Valentin made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grant Sherwood was slow to take the kick. During this time Henley on Thames United's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Edgar Iovanovici tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Ottaway in the 9th minute of the match. Takacs Tibor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sofoklis Prinianakis having to make a save. After 11 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Ottaway in the 12th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sofoklis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Kristian Ottaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristian Ottaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Edgar Iovanovici tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Sofoklis Prinianakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Ottaway in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sofoklis Prinianakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristian Ottaway was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Sofoklis Prinianakis made a huge save. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Houghton in the 64th minute of play. Antal Valentin kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 69thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Henley on Thames United's keeper Sofoklis Prinianakis was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofoklis Prinianakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Iovanovici, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Major Barna got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Carl Houghton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henley on Thames United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Houghton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Houghton to maneuver through the defense. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sofoklis Prinianakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Ottaway in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Iovanovici in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Henley on Thames United throughout the match.
