Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Ortega went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Hegedus Henrik struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Anıl Mücahit Efe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After 39 played minutes Erzincan FK got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Ortega. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ariel Ortega got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fodor Daniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Hungary booed when Erzincan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Icardi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Erzincan FK had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
