Freestylers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graciano Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christopher Röske. Christopher Röske dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musa Bardakçı in the 17th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Pietro. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Matthias Büssinger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Matthias Büssinger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Büssinger in the 23rd minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Abstreiter in the 29th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Musa Bardakçı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 46 in the game by Matthias Büssinger from a close distance when the talented Wilson Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Portugal's players were relieved. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthias Büssinger was the one to do the kick off. Raul Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Freestylers's Robin von Gyldenfeldt was substituted for Musa Bardakçı. Raul Caetano hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Joaquin Satordi made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mathias Abstreiter. The crowd rose to their feet as Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christopher Röske. That made the score 3-4 after 87 minutes of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Nafarroa in the 90th minute of the match. Robin von Gyldenfeldt took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesc Freixes in the 95th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christopher Röske made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
