Luka Uijtterhoeven made the kick off and thus started the match. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. When Kenny Deferme fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Three Towers United's protests and gave Kenny Deferme a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Three Towers United got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Deferme. 8 minutes into the match, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Robert De Geutter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Uijtterhoeven in the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert De Geutter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hias Nüssli. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luka Uijtterhoeven went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Herman Dierickx kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Switzerland's Hias Nüssli got control of the ball when Jaques Wenderix tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Three Towers United booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Wiesendanger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Herman Dierickx in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer. After having played for 38 minutes, Jacinto Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Maurer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kenny Sielis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Herman Dierickx in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Switzerland's Rodrigo von Känel. If Jaques Wenderix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert De Geutter, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuele Kunz in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenny Sielis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuele Kunz was the one to do the kick off. Kenny Sielis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fridolin Neumeister kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Three Towers United's Robert De Geutter in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Switzerland's goalie prevented a goal. When Jeoffrey Rijmenants came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Three Towers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeoffrey Rijmenants couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Three Towers United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Switzerland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
